Farm Fresh South - Raw Milk 1lt

Just a heads up that we’ll be drying the cows off towards the end of May.  There will be no more Raw Milk from May 29th.

The cows are getting close to calving and need a good rest before the new season starts.

In previous years, we’ve either had some staggered calving or brought in cows from
other farms to keep raw milk going through winter, but it puts a big strain on the farm and is also very expensive to milk through winter.

This year, we’re taking the opportunity to get ahead with some farm development work and give the cows, people, and farm a proper break over the harder winter months.

We’re planning for raw milk to start back again around the 10th of August, depending on the season and calving.

We’ll still have pasteurised milk available as normal over winter.
